POLYshim II Tape is a 100% solids, highly adhesive and elastic, cross-linked butyl preformed tape with a continuous integral EPDM shim. The integrated EPDM shim ensures consistent spacing, proper edge clearance, and controlled compression within the glazing pocket, supporting structural integrity and long-term weather performance.
Designed for compression glazing systems, POLYshim II Tape is used wherever the design calls for high-performance glazing, including stick curtain wall systems, unitized and panelized curtain walls, punched openings, ribbon and strip windows, and sloped glazing applications. It is ideal for compression glazing of vision lites or panels, delivering strong adhesion combined with elastic recovery under load.
