The Ives 157XY Continuous Full Surface Geared Hinge is an ideal solution for the replacement or worn or broken storefront door pivots, which we run across quite often. I our opinion this is the best solution if you can not find a compatable replacement pivot. The geared hinge will not allow the door to twist, which makes your door more sturdy in the frame. This hinge measures 83″ long and is 3-7/16″ wide included the cover which hides the screw mounting. A patented easy to install, heavy duty hinge which offers lateral and vertical adjustablility whle the door is still hanging. The hinge is non handed, will mount on a narrow frame, can be cut down in the field and will work on doors up to 550 pounds. 12-24 x 1/2″ steel self drilling and tapping screws are included.
